Responsibilities
- Drive product awareness of Hexagon PPM strategic portfolio with global analysts, significantly expanding their understanding of the company’s value proposition and differentiation in the market
- Develop and foster relationships with key analysts and market influencers globally
- Execute briefings, inquiries, demonstrations and strategy days with relevant analysts and company spokespeople to establish Hexagon as a leader in the Industrial Facility software market
- Help influence analysts with company spokespeople so that the company appears in research reports and software vendor reviews
- Prioritize and manage inbound requests for information, report reviews, speaking engagements, and briefings.
- Be a strategic partner to Hexagon PPM executives in preparing content that is tailored for an analyst audience. Provide spokesperson training and education where needed
- Strategically engage with analysts to bring insights to Hexagon PPM strategies.
- Successfully manage key research instruments such as Gartner Magic Quadrants and Forrester Waves, as well as provide content for analyst research, blogs and social content.
- Collaborate across teams to help educate and influence analysts’ and internal stakeholders’ understanding and perceptions of our solutions.
- Proven track record for new, innovative approaches and smart risk taking.
- Plan/implement practical and measurable analyst programs that support Hexagon PPM's business priorities; lead/own cross-functional projects as required
- Work closely with Portfolio Strategy team to develop analyst-specific positioning and messaging that results in favorable analyst perceptions
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Enterprise software/SaaS experience is highly desirable
- Significant experience (minimum 8 years) in technology analyst relations, public relations, communications, or product marketing role
- Analyst Relations Expertise: Must have a proven track record of working with industry analysts, such as Gartner and Forrester, and be able to evangelize and educate the importance of this community within the company
- High level of energy; self-starter
- Eloquent -- comfortable communicating with internal executives and analysts
- Comfortable working /coordinating with team members who are geographically dispersed
- Strong analytical abilities and critical, creative problem solver with the ability to deliver on day-to-day tactics while infusing new ideas and approaches in support of overall team objectives
- Ability to balance multiple, complex tasks and projects concurrently
- Proven project management skills: Ability to keep projects/programs on track - on time and within budget
