SUMMARY

We seek an experienced and innovative UX/UI Specialist to join our team in creating exceptional digital experiences for our customers, including our website, emails, and digital advertisements. As a UX/UI Specialist at HexArmor, you will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive, user-centered interfaces for our ever-changing and ever-growing websites and platforms. You will also be responsible for creating designs for our outbound marketing strategies. Your expertise in these areas will help enhance user satisfaction, accessibility, and overall usability of all HexArmor digital experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create interactive wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively
  • Develop design guidelines and standards alongside the creative team, including style guides and standard UI components
  • Utilize data and design to bring simplicity and user friendliness to the company website and landing pages
  • Collaborate with relevant parties on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and designs
  • Effectively communicate designs to web developers/engineers, creative team, digital team, and other key stakeholders
  • Conduct industry research and stay up to date on best practices, competitor UI designs, and emerging technologies
  • Conduct testing of website designs and user flows
  • Understand and utilize Google Analytics to assess the impact of all UI design and usability changes
  • Send monthly reports that analyze the effectiveness of content on digital platforms, including blog posts, tech pages, brochures, and more
  • Manage brand and user experience of all landing pages, advertisements, and email designs following brand design guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or a similar field (or experience)
  • 3-5 years UX/UI experience
  • Portfolio of work in UX/UI design
  • Experience with web and mobile app design
  • Proficient in responsive design and grid principles
  • Working knowledge of basic, front-end development (HTML,CSS)
  • Mastery of industry tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD
  • Proficient in ideation and creation of UI design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Understanding of ADA and WCAG compliance as it pertains to digital design

COMPENSATION

  • Base bonus based on experience.
