What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech- HHDC position at HHDC?

From your 3 years of maintenance experience in apartment buildings, you know that maintaining a building and providing service to residents isn’t always an easy job. Sometimes the job is demanding and it requires you to be on call evenings and on weekends. But you love repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry issues and take pride to ensure the work is done correctly and efficiently. You find it rewarding in knowing that your efforts result in a well maintained apartment complex that people are proud to call home.
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited:
- Prioritizing work orders, and ensuring work assignments are completed to a satisfactory standard.
- Working with the property manager to obtain bids for larger projects and overseeing subcontractor work at the property.
- Implementing a plan for preventive maintenance work and for a safe environment.
- Covid Vaccination Proof. Exemption Forms can be provided.
- This position is NON-UNION.

You must be able to lift 50lbs and be on call on nights and weekends.
