Project Manager - Commercial Roofing

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial roofing Project Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a crucial member of our organization, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing commercial roofing projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial roofing project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Tennessee market.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Development:
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers in the initial project planning phase.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Ensure alignment with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Resource Management:
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of roofing materials and supplies.
• Optimize resource allocation to meet project deadlines and financial targets.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and motivate project teams, including Superintendents, Foremen, and roofing crews.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration within the project teams.
• Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Client Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
• Address client inquiries, concerns, and changes to project scope.
• Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance:
• Implement and enforce company standards for quality and safety.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry best practices.
• Implement corrective actions and improvements based on project evaluations.
• Financial Management:
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial roofing industry.
• Deep knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Familiarity with Tennessee building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within Tennessee as needed for project requirements.
