Shop Manager (automotive)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to join our team. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail shop, ensuring excellent customer service, managing the sales team, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing the register, counting cash, and making deposits
- Ensure proper inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall appearance of the shop
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving profitability

Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales management or retail supervisory role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent cash handling skills and familiarity with cash register operations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries or complaints
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining a clean and organized shop environment
- Proficient in shift management to ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times
- Basic understanding of pricing strategies for effective product placement

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
