We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manaer with a progressive culinary background that has fundamental understanding of the diversity, fine touches, bold flavors and unique finesse of Creative-American cuisine with touches from Spain, France, and Italy.

The ideal candidates will be able to:
- Manage the BOH culinary team, inventory and cooridnate food orders
- Keep weekly and monthly cost reports
- Supervising and train food prep and cooking
- Checking food plating and temperature
- Guide the team to deliver quality food on time
- Establish and maintain portion sizes
- Schedule kitchen team shifts
- Price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
- Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
- Store and label food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
The ideal candidates will have:
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, teach, and coach restaurant employees
- 1 years of kitchen leadership experience as a kitchen manager in high-volume, well-rated restaurants
- Ability to support the line during service while managing transition from prep to service
- An Associate's degree from a culinary focused university preferred but not necessary
- Experience with various Mediterranean cuisines along with classic cooking styles & preparations
- Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients
- Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Conflict management abilities
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
