What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at High End Furniture Company?
Location: Remote
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
· Identify, target, and close new accounts to maximize sales volume.
- Develop and build a robust pipeline of new customers and nurture relationships.
- Reach out to existing leads.
- Effectively provide and maintain communication with all accounts new and existing with goal to maximize sales.
- Provide product information, lead times, and answer general information in response to customer inquiries by phone and email.
- Promote customer satisfaction by assisting in the full service of customer accounts.
- Resolve customer problems in a timely, professional and effective manner.
- Produce quotes based on customer purchase orders received email, calls, or website.
- Provide executive management team with weekly status update; number of prospect, dollar amount in pipeline for open quotes, pending sales orders et al.
- Maximize incremental sales with assigned existing accounts.
- Ensure sales orders are entered correctly and timely into system, tracked through production and customer questions/concerns are addressed.
- Attend and participate in multiple domestic trade shows as needed.
- Manage communication with customers and leads to promote attendance at tradeshows and Market.
- Collaboratively work with team members and management to support and implement sales initiatives.
- Complete other sales related duties as dictated by the business.
Qualifications include (but not limited to):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 - 5 years successful track record in outside sales within in the furniture industry, preferred.
- Experience in corporate, hospitality and/or international sales preferred.
· Self-motivated, collaborative, flexible and consistent high performer in an unstructured and fast paced environment.
- Intrinsic understanding for luxury brands is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Computer literate. Working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to travel to current and potential clients to grow sales and attend tradeshows as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
