Higher Ground Pediatric Therapy is a locally-owned, pediatric therapy practice. Since 2010, we have provided the highest quality therapeutic services to our community. We offer Occupational, Physical and Speech therapy services in office, at area schools, and in the home setting. Your team will consist of 10 full time, and 2 part time clinicians, Lead Front Desk, Practice Manager, and Owner/Clinical Director.
We are looking for a calm, positive personality who has a quick eye for detail that can be highly organized in a setting that can demand quick decision making and multi-tasking. Must be honest, have a desire to work as a team player.

- General office equipment: phone system, fax, printer, scanner, electronic filing
- Understanding of Insurance Verification/Benefits and prior authorizations
Role:
This position lends to direct interaction with clients and caregivers in an often fast paced environment. You will be responsible for working along side our Lead Front Desk to complete daily task including but not limited to, answering phones, checking patients in/out, processing referrals, creating basic communication documents, verifying Medicaid insurance, collecting payments, data entry, scheduling of new and existing patients and directing callers to appropriate staff. Light cleaning, restocking, and basic open/closure procedures.
Schedule Hours:
8am - 12:45 to 1:45 - 6pm, Monday thru Thursday
Pay:
- $16.00 starting pay

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the Front Desk Receptionist/Support will typically be in an office setting. The Front Desk Receptionist/Support is frequently required to operate a computer and file and retrieve written documents and preform light cleaning duties.
- The physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching and bending.
- Clerical positions can be mentally challenging. As a result, this position is more mentally challenging than physically challenging. There will be extended periods of sitting required when performing administrative tasks and while attending meetings.
- Non-physical demands include a work environment where the noise level is usually moderate, but may be loud on occasion. The nature of the position may expose the Front Desk Receptionist/Support to moderate levels of tension when dealing with issues. The level of tension is usually moderate, with high levels of tension occurring occasionally.
