Highlights Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Intake Coordinator to join our corporate support team. Our team supports our ABA therapy Learning Centers, diagnostic clinicians, and home-based clients throughout North Carolina.
Our Intake Coordinator manages the entire process from a family's initial contact with us, whether directly or via a medical referral, through the learner's initial assessment for services. Incredible communication skills and attention to detail are imperative for our fast-paced environment. Our mission is to reduce the wait times for diagnostic sessions and ABA therapy services for young children with Medicaid benefits. We treat each family with the urgency we would want if it were our own child.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Receive new and prospective client information directly via phone, fax, or email
• Complete learner data through direct communication with the learner's family and/or referral sources
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with the scheduling team and clinical leadership for the session or assessment needed
• Maintain proper and complete documentation
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of files and records
• Perform periodic audits of files and records
• Assist with other client services team functions
• Comply with Highlights Healthcare’s vision, mission, and values
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing
• Associate's degree or above preferred, or experience equivalent
• Bilingual preferred
• Adherence to laws and best practices with regard to customers and data
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team environment, and processing of intake forms and data
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel (pivot tables, data tracking, and reporting)
• Highly organized with attention to detail; results driven
• Excellent time management and high productivity
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
