Direct all phases of programs and projects from inception through completion

Serve as liaison between program team and other business areas, including production, engineering, supply chain management, business development, and quality

Participate in contract and contract change negotiations

Act as primary customer contact for program activities, including leading program meetings with customers to review cost, schedule, and technical performance

Establish program/project milestones and monitor adherence to plans/schedules

Facilitate the appointment of individuals to project delivery teams

Determine reasons and coordinate solutions for program and project variances

Facilitate regular, professional team meetings with Government and HII integrated program teams

Communicate complex issues/gain consensus with the engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and other stakeholders

Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction objectives

Review customer solicitations and manage the preparation of timely and accurate cost, management, and technical proposals to achieve the solicitation’s requirements

Foster organic growth through frequent interactions with customer counterparts

What you will be doing...
Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors. Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program. Program may require new technologies. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands services with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
What we are looking for...
8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Experience in an Earned Value Management environment
- Must currently hold a secret government clearance #LI-MH1 *EP *TE *MV

- Significant experience managing communications with senior military officers and DoD executive leadership
- Experience working in a matrix organization with geographically dispersed teams
