Responsibilities:
- Practice of medicine within the scope of license, training, credentialing and in accordance with the current standards of care and quality criteria adopted by the company.
- This is a broad-spectrum pediatric practice.
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Order, perform and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients’ condition.
- Complete charting on an electronic medical record and required paperwork in a timely manner. Maintain confidential patient information.
- Participate in the development/review of organizational policies and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) and completion of accredited Pediatric Residency.
- Board certification in specialty through the American Board of Pediatrics. If newly graduated, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation and must be kept current.
- Unrestricted license to practice within the State of Illinois.
- Current DEA certificate without restriction.
- CPR certification Current and Active
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish is preferred.
