Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing their basic and technology related inquiries and concerns.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Work closely with producers, brokers, and clients to provide streamlined technology solutions.
- Document all correspondence regarding the account in agency management system. Always keeping detailed records of client interactions and system changes.
- Assist clients with problem solving solutions by researching and updating processes to create a streamlined flow for the client’s technology system.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external via phone, email, video, and audio conferencing.
- Maintain accurate client files and documentation for audit purposes.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving client satisfaction and retention.
- Build clients on benefit administration systems.
- Provide templated files for client and carrier data return.
- Communicate and train clients and internal team members once set up is complete.
- Set up of EDI/Integration file feeds within agreed upon timelines and service level agreements. Report to producers, brokers, and clients throughout and concluding the full integration set up.
- Read EDI data, EDI specifications and internal spec reviews to resolve EDI-related issues.
- Any other function as established/directed by management.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analysis, time management skills, communication skills, self-sufficient, and initiative-taker.
- Customer focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable with communicating professionally with internal and external via phone, email, video, and audio conferencing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with starting and stopping projects to assist with urgent requests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced – V-Look Up/Match/Formula function)
- Previous experience with Employee Navigator, Ease, and/or benefit administration software preferred, but not required.
- Previous EDI setup (834/Data Exchange File Feeds preferred, but not required.
- Perform all job requirements, consistently produce quality work, complete tasks accurately and on time, prioritize and plan work assignments, use time efficiently to meet productivity standards and commitments.
- Take responsibility for own actions and be responsive to coaching from other team members and department manager.
- Strive to continuously pursue training and development opportunities to build knowledge and skills.
