Hilco Vision’s Product Development Team is growing and is in search of a Designer to jump on board! The Designer will support the efforts of the Product Development Team by taking part in and collaborating with a growing creative team. The Product Development Team designs products than span across multiple brands and market categories.

A Little Bit About You:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, or a related field paired with up to five years working within a Product Development team.
- In an ever-changing environment, you’re nimble and remain flexible in order to respond quickly to the varying and changing needs of the organization.
- A true team player, you’re able to work together by providing and accepting different points of view and working toward a common goal.
- You have great understanding of project and design specifications, design according to project briefs and requests from concept through production maintaining objectives.
- With an eye for design and innovation, providing fresh ideas for ongoing product, packaging, graphics and displays comes naturally to you.
- You are proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, and Photoshop for layout, illustration and production file creation – experience with photography is a plus!
- Communication is key – you are professional in your communication, and are able to effectively communicate your thoughts and ideas
- You have experience using 3D surface and solid modeling software and 3D rendering programs including 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD, Rhino, and SolidWorks.
The Nitty Gritty:
- Support efforts involved in product development and improvement, including but not limited to product concepting, display ideation, technical specifications, graphics and package design.
- Ideate, Storyboard and Create compelling design presentations based on the input from product development manager and product managers.
- Update and maintain project trackers, providing regular project status updates.
- Sketch concepts, layout 2D CAD drawings, produce 3D models for production and renderings & creating mockups and prototypes for evaluation and final approvals.
- Evaluate and modify 2D & 3D vendor drawings.
