What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Parent position at Hill Country Youth Ranch?
Hill Country Youth Ranch serves as a placement for youth ages 5 to 18 years of age who have been through trauma. House Parents are responisble for care and supervison of the child in placement. You must exhibit emotional maturity required to work with children who have experienced trauma. The position requries compassionate understanding, ability to form and maintain healthy relationships with the children, and effectively communicate with the children and their co-workers.
This is a Live in Position with scheduled days off. Room and board are included. You must be 21 years of age or older, pass a criminal history background check, have a valid driver's license and all applicants must complete The Diana Screen®.
