**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to join our team and assist in organizing and implementing engaging activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating a positive and stimulating environment. **Responsibilities:** - Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities for residents - Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed - Collaborate with the care team to provide personalized care and social interaction - Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members - Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents - Help in event planning and coordination of special activities - Provide support in recreational therapy programs - Assist in caring for residents with dementia **Skills:** - Experience in caregiving or working with seniors - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of social work principles - Familiarity with senior care practices - Ability to plan and execute engaging activities - Understanding of dementia care techniques - Background in event planning is a plus This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents while gaining valuable experience in the field of senior care.
