Position: Guest Service Team Member (1)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Manager of Operations - LSMF
Pay Rate: $15.00
Position Summary:
Serve as an ambassador by offering dynamic, enthusiastic, professional experiences for guests in all areas of the museum and factory. Staff ticket center, batting cage, hold a piece of history, bat vault, and information desk. Present programming and assist with thesetupp and execution of special events designed to attract and delight guests at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Assist with the set up and execution of rental events. Responsible for assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of equipment in batting cage and/or ticket booth. Must work nights and weekends as needed.
Essential Functions
1. Responsible for staffing ticket booth, batting cage and hold a piece of history.
2. Open and close the ticket booth and/or batting cage on a daily basis.
3. Adheres to the policies of handling cash and deposits at all times.
4. Conduct special programming and presentations. This includes but is not limited to, bat vault presentation, burn branding, hold a piece of history, and other special or exhibit-related experiences.
5. Assist with evening event set-up and other guest services as needed.
6. Provide top-notch interaction with all guests in all areas of the museum at all times.
7. Be the eyes and ears on the floor, including completing a checklist of exhibit maintenance and reporting any needed updates, repairs, or malfunctions.
8. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

2. Polished, dynamic public speaker
3. Must have a professional appearance
4. Passion for and knowledge of baseball preferred.
