What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator Club Lounge position at Hilton Grand Vacations?
- Provides outstanding guest/owner service at all times.
- Prepares buffet areas, ensuring all necessary food, beverage and condiment items are presented in an appealing and appetizing manner. Inspects buffet tables to ensure maximum quality.
- Ensures food, beverage and condiment items are replenished at regular intervals to prevent a disruption in food availability to our owners and guests.
- Maintains the kitchen, buffet, presentation, and lounge areas in a clean and neat manner, paying close attention to all food surfaces, refrigerators, tables, and floors busses and maintains tables throughout the day.
- Adheres to all local, state, and federal food handling and health guidelines as required by law. Alerts management to any potential problems or areas of concern in this regard.
- Works closely with departmental manager to prepare and place food and supply orders, maintaining appropriate inventory levels at all times. Receives and organizes all food and supply orders upon receipt.
- Assists and provides support to other departmental team members when necessary.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Displays professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Occasionally provide food and beverage service and coverage for company sponsored events ( i.e. Marketing and Sales events)
- Follows company philosophies, policies and procedures
- Carries out a reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing.
• Strong commitment to the consistent delivery of quality guest service.
• At least 2 years of customer service or food service experience in a restaurant or hotel
• Basic knowledge of food handling laws and procedures required.
• Ability to work independently to meet required food service deadlines.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to lift and pull up to 50 lbs without accommodation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and public holidays
