Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy a delightful breakfast experience. You will assist in the preparation and presentation of breakfast items, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Your ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently in a hotel environment will be key to your success in this position.
Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast items, including hot and cold food options, ensuring everything is fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, countertops, and equipment.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing prompt and courteous service.
- Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
- Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including meat cutting and meal preparation.
- Collaborate with catering staff for special events or large group breakfasts.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when interacting with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation techniques is a plus.
