This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Director of Sales and Marketing you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal team reporting to General Manager, you will work on projects including developing strategics Sales and Marketing Plans and initiatives that maximize profitability for the hotel to achieve budget, revenue, and market share target.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic Sales and Marketing Plans that maximize profitability for the hotel in order to achieve budget, revenue, and market share target.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to lead business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels.
- Develop the sales group and groom a sales team.
- Manage hotel sales and marketing plans to ensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of the business and use these plans to focus the sales efforts for all market segments
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner with the Senior Management Team to identify and drive focused activities on elements of the business that require additional support.
- Direct and manage the forecasting process together with the Revenue Department to ensure accurate, timely, and complete information. Compile and/or direct the preparation of reports pertaining to the operation of the Sales Department to include, but not limited to the annual and monthly Forecast, Lead Management System, and Booking Reports.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Contribute to the development of company sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing, and monitoring appropriate local activity.
- Actively participate and complete the preparation of the annual Sales and Market Plan, quarterly updates, and the hotel's annual budget. Execute initiatives as outlined; swiftly implement strategies/tactics to offset changes in markets, and economy, or guided by the competitive set. Organize and/or attend scheduled group and related meetings.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Five (5) years of work experience as a Director of Sales
- Knowledge of marketing, negotiating, sales, and revenue procedures associated with the hotel industry.
- Experience with luxury resorts
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Travel up to 30% of the time
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Knowledge of California market

Salary : $185,000 - $245,000
