Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to oversee the staffing needs of two well-known healthcare facilities located in San Luis Obispo, CA.

The starting pay rate is $22 - $23 DOE.

Schedule Varies : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : pm

Responsibilities :

  • Maintenance of daily staffing for hospital sites
  • Report staffing shortages and effectively create solutions to problems
  • Recommend actions and refer problems to upper management when necessary
  • Intake of daily sick calls and schedule updates
  • Assist with department schedule changes
  • Daily Data entry and filing of records
  • Coordinate and execute daily reports via G-Mail, Excel and Word applications.

Qualifications :

  • Previous hospital staffing experience or 2 years of equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical ratios without the aid of a calculator
  • Comprehend information reported, including verbal instruction
  • Must possess good communication skills to effectively convey information
  • Must possess strategic problem solving skills
  • Must possess good organizational skills, dependability and punctuality
  • Must possess a minimum typing speed of 40wpm
