Hire Up Staffing is seeking an Accounting Clerk for our client in the Modesto area! This is a temp to hire role offering a full-time schedule with an amazing company!! We are seeking dedicated employees with excellent math, problem solving, and communication skills.
Seeking an Accounting Clerk able to work in a high-volume setting.
Qualifications: At least one year of recent experience as an accountant clerk
- Advanced knowledge of MS systems
- Proficient in typing
- Proficient math skills and quick problem-solving skills
Pay Details: $22/hr. Temp-to-hire - longterm!
Job Duties: Assist in the completion of the period-end close assignments.
- Prepare journal entries to record recurring and non-routine transactions.
- Update schedules used in the reporting and analysis of the financial statements.
- Assist with the general ledger coding of accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile and prepare member production disbursements.
- Generate and prepare schedules and reports requested as part of annual financial statement audit and bank examination.
- Assist in the preparation of annual property tax statements and quarterly sales tax returns.
- Provide support in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and member production.
