On behalf of our client, we are seeking a General Manager to ensure that annual divisional initiatives that align with company initiatives are completed.
You will be responsible for a quality team of properly trained employees that produce jobs completed according to procedures and processes.
You will supervise, monitor, and communicate with management staff to stay updated on jobs, documentation, budgeting, and any customer issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with division managers to create an annual business plan with goals
- Oversee the management of the Marketing, Production, Construction Services, and Office Divisions
- Direct franchise operations during storm and large loss events
- Conduct Managers’ Meeting
- Report to and update the franchise owner, as needed, or required
- Continue professional and personal development of leadership, management, and teambuilding, skills
- Network and build relationships with key accounts and centers of influence (COIs) to ensure client satisfaction
- Work with division managers to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Assist division managers with planning for and meeting staffing needs
- Assist division mangers with recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining employees
- Coach and mentor division managers
- Confirm with the Office Manager or HR that current human resources documentation requirements are met
- Adhere to annual company budget
- Confirm with the accounting clerk that the monthly/quarterly financial statements are shared with the CPA of record
- Ensure the company complies with federal, state, and local regulations
- Ensure adequate insurance coverages
Qualifications
- Effective written and oral communication
- Intermediate math skills
- 5 years management experience (restoration industry experience a plus)
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Knowledgeable at job costing and quality control
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Working Hours
This is a full-time position working varying hours between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week minimum. This position frequently requires working on-call and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local during the business day; however, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
