HireUp Talent is partnering with our client in the Tampa Bay area for a Sales Development Representative position. This is an on-site position.

The Sales Development Representatives focus on outreach, prospecting, lead qualification and have a knack for building rapport with clients by explaining our unique service. SDR's do not focus on closing business, but rather focus on connecting with as many leads as possible, via phone, determining eligibility for tax credits and gathering financial documents. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a company dedicated to making a difference for small businesses across the United States.
We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, high energy and be able to fluidly work in a fast-paced call center environment to meet daily goals and metrics.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial welcome calls with new small business applicants.
- Develops rapport and build strong relationships with client/customers.
- Follow up daily with multiple clients via phone and email in a high-volume environment.
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day.
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in a team environment.
- Gather client financial information and documentation.
- Nurtures these relationships through consistent positive interactions and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Comfortable with high volume of outbound calls and talk-time
- Comfortable Seating 8-9hours per day making phone calls.
- Understanding the basics on the phone: talking clearly, quick thinker, career minded.
- Experience in sales, account management, and relationship management (preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently.
- Great written and verbal communication
- You are driven to exceed expectations.
- Comfortable and efficient in multitasking
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
