What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mail Clerk position at Hiring Scouts?
Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Mon to Fri)
Type: 3 months (temp to perm)
Summary:
- Efficiently sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery and accurate handling
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks specifically related to FedEx packages, including logging arrivals and departures, tracking shipments, and coordinating with carriers as necessary
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls to the central office, providing courteous and professional assistance to callers and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Perform data entry tasks using Excel software, accurately inputting and updating information in spreadsheets and databases as required by organizational needs
- Maintain organization and accessibility of files in the mailroom, including filing, archiving, and retrieving documents as needed to support efficient operations

Pay: $20.72 per hour
