Job Description
The Youth Program Manager serves as part of the Youth Services. Under supervision, the Program Manager works with the Director of the Family Wellness Center to manage the youth programs and initiatives, ensuring program efficacy, deliverables, and implementation of methods of increased performance measures. Oversees the daily tasks and responsibilities of staff. Serves as the initial point of contact for program needs. Collaborates with other HHC programs to promote teamwork. Establishes, builds, and maintains relationships with other community-serving agencies, businesses, and local government agencies that leverage the organization’s ability to meet identified unmet needs and improve equity. Conducts site visits when necessary. Organizes and conducts field reviews. Develops and implements structure and report management tools demonstrating progress and performance measurements. Completes and submits quarterly reporting metrics, progress reports, and other deliverables for record keeping. Participates in program meetings. Attends external and internal meetings. Provides support to the Director in the management of the programs. Performs other related work as required.
The hours of work are 35 per week. Required to travel to site locations.
This is a grant funded position. Position is contingent on grant funding.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, Health Sciences, Health Promotion, or any related field and three (3) years of experience in a field related to education, public health, health promotion, or health sciences providing community education, outreach, training and employment, direct care services or closely related field to a diverse population.
Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
