General Information :
Hitachi Energy is looking for an Activities Coordinator to work at our Jefferson City, MO location. This position is fully onsite and requires US Citizenship Status.
Your Responsibilities :
- Leads the organization in the coordination of employee activities, as well as any support needed during the activities or events.
- Develop relationships with employees to determine employee activity interests
- Conducts surveys, engages employees through communications and / or meetings, recommends new programs and changes.
- Ensures funds are used effectively and efficiently for the continuous improvement of employee engagement.
- Develops and maintains relationships with vendors used in events & activities.
- Evaluates the success of each activity, event, or outing and identifies opportunities for improvement in the future.
- Organize on-site activities and events.
- Organize off-site team events and leagues.
- Encourage employee participation.
- Presentations to Leadership Team
- Manage activities calendar.
- Confirm bookings or reservations as needed.
- Ensure a physically and emotionally safe and fun environment for all participants.
- Assists in Community Relations activities as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Background :
- Bachelor’s degree required, Prefer degree in Human Sciences fields.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- 2 to 5 years of experience with activities, sporting & event planning.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience with coordination of activities and managing projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough understanding of activities planning practices and techniques.
- Demonstrated skills of leading groups.
