What We're Looking For Under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. Position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. The primary location for this position will be at the Administration Building at JFK Airport. Relocation and housing are not provided for this position. Primary Focus Will Include: Performs clerical and administrative support tasks, including creation, typing, and editing of program correspondence, reports, program handbooks, and other publications Organizes meetings, prepares meeting handouts, participates in, and prepares minutes, documents and follows-up up on important actions and decisions from meetings Prepares from scratch and formats Microsoft office files and PowerPoint presentations as needed Prepare from scratch various maps, graphics, newsletters, reports, or other Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on project delivery and progress Assisting Project Managers develop documents and presentation graphics to include CAD drawings, overlays, Photoshop, and Illustrator visualizations, or other Provide Virtual Design & Construction team with necessary CAD, BIM, and visualization support Supporting Program Controls team with dashboarding and data visualizations Work with Program Controls team on the integration of VDC with project controls processes such as cost estimating and scheduling Create Navisworks and/or Synchro Pro animations by linking models to project schedules to develop phasing and logistics simulations. Participate in airport-wide coordination and logistics efforts Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Synchro Pro. Experience in preparation of 3D & 4D visualizations and simulations using Autodesk Navisworks and/or Synchro Pro. Excellent attention to detail and ability to understand basic design and construction components. Must be able to Identify errors, problems, or non-standard situations and suggest alternatives Must possess character traits of being accurate, thorough, meticulous, proactive, efficient, self-motivated, self-organizing, a team player Proven ability to work effectively within groups and to complete assigned tasks independently. e-Builder, SharePoint and Microsoft Visio user knowledge a plus What You'll Need Essential Responsibilities: Assists project team members with various support tasks. Conducts basic research and data collection. Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects. Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports. Performs other duties assigned.
