We are looking for a Building Maintenance rolefor a property in the Atlanta Metro Area. This position will provide daily and on-going preventative maintenance services and special projects for multi-family residences. Properties include high-rise, midrise, and garden style homes.
This position will require some evening, weekend, and on-call hours.
Prior experience in a similar role in property management is preferred. We are seeking candidates with excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills. Current licensure in HVAC, electrical and pool maintenance is desired.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide Building Maintenance services including:
o Minor sheetrock repairs
o Replacing lightbulbs
o Prime/paint walls or other surfaces
o Assemble furniture from a box
o Assemble and replace/install light/ceiling fan fixtures from a box
o Replace electrical switch/outlet
o Replace existing thermostat
o Assemble and replace/install faucet
o Replace toilet tank kit
o Use plunger or 6ft auger to clear toilet clog
o Pressure wash effectively
o General cleaning

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within property management
· Knowledge of the proper use of hand tools
· Knowledge of the proper use of power tools
· Knowledge of the proper use of ladders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and organization skills.
- Good judgment.
- Flexibility.
- Detail oriented
Education and/or Accreditations
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
· OSHA/CPO certifications required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
