Hobaica Services is seeking a Controller and must possess a diverse skill set, able to multi-task, and make sound judgement calls under pressure.
This is a full-time, in-office, exempt level position, reporting to the Director of Operations and Sales. This role requires a BS Degree is Accounting. CPA or CMA a plus.
The pay for this role is $75-95k bonuses annually depending on experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hire & manage A/P, A/R, HR and Payroll personnel
- Financial Reporting
- General Ledger
- Bank Reconciliation
- Sales Tax Reporting
- Monthly & Annual Budgeting
- Monthly Overhead Allocation
- Monthly Reconciliation of TCC Liability
- Monthly Reconciliation of Warranty Reserves
- Monthly Calculation of Accrued Payroll and Accrued Payroll Tax
- Monthly Service Technician Statistical reporting
- Weekly Review completed jobs
- Monthly Complete Warranty Call Slips
- Review Service Titan Completion of Calls
- Manage Bank Accounts Daily
- Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll
- Weekly Reporting of KPI’s
- Maintain System of Controls over Accounting Transactions
- Monthly Employee Vacation Incentive
- Maintain SOP’s over Financial Team Policies and Procedures
- Liability and Workman Compensation Insurance
- Fleet, Fuel Cards, Process Special Payables, LCC Company Reports
- This position, as are all positions at Hobaica Services, LLC., is always changing and expanding. New assignments may be added or changed and job requirements may alter.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-discipline environment
- Strong judgment skills to make sound business decisions and resolve issues in a clear, calm, and diplomatic manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products, experience with Service Titan a plus
- Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA or CMA a Plus
