THE ROLE: Receiver
LOCATION: Goodyear, AZ
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
POSITION TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt
OUR OPPORTUNITY:
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Receiver is responsible for unloading deliveries, verifying shipment records, accepting shipments, and distributing materials and parts coming into the company.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unload freight carriers, examine shipment for damage and sign freight bills of lading.
- Confirm product quantity, quality, cross reference purchase order, item number and vendor.
- Enter receipt and packing slip number in Epicor, print label for warehouse location and affix label to product.
- Move shipment to assigned warehouse location/bin per the print label.
- Complete daily cycle counts/inventory.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of related experience unloading trucks and vans.
- Must be proficient in operating a forklift and/or combi lift.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform basic calculations using a calculator.
- Basic computer skills in a windows environment/ERP system.
- Demonstrates values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork and collaboration
- Physical requirements include occasional move or lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, pulling, and extended periods of standing.
- The employee in this position must wear OSHA approved safety shoes with metatarsal guards, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection.
