Responsibilities
What you will do as an Executive Chef
- Oversee day-to-day operations and staffing for the kitchen and dining venue.
- Interview, hire, train, develop, and manage staff.
- Meet regularly with residents to confirm that we are providing high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain the following:
- Monthly and annual budgets
- Employee and customer satisfaction and engagement scores at or above Atria’s standard.
- The highest levels of cleanliness, quality, and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Culinary Arts Degree and/or Chef Certification strongly preferred
- Five (5) or more years of Culinary Experience in the hospitality industry
- Effective verbal and written English skills
- Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and working in a team setting
- Food handlers permit. HACCP certification may be required
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
