What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Area Attendant/ Driver position at Holiday Inn & Suites?
We are looking for a Public Area/ Shuttle Driver Attendant to clean and maintain all public areas (i.e., hotel lobby, restrooms) in impeccable condition, in accordance with hotel standards. As well to transport guests in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner using safe driving practices. MUST have a valid driver's license.
Essential Functions:
- Thoroughly cleans sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, countertops, walls vents and floors with
- specifically assigned cleaning agents. Disposes of trash.
- Dusts all furniture and pictures, cleans all windows and glass, and vacuums public areas.
- Vacuums and disposes of trash in office areas.
- Polishes fixtures and vacuum elevators.
- Maintains a vacuumed appearance in stairwells.
- Comprehends and abides by all traffic regulations while transporting customers to and from the airport terminal or other designated site.
- Lifts luggage, packages and boxes from cars, buses, vans and carts, placing items on the ground, onto baggage carts, conveyors or other vehicles.
- Listens, understands, and responds immediately to customer and employee inquiries and requests for assistance.
- Greets customers with a friendly and sincere welcome.
- Remains calm and alert especially during emergencies or heavy hotel activity and handles
- complications from driving in the local community.
- Clearly communicates the features, and services of the hotel facilities.
