What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medication Aide position at Holiday Resorts?
Available Shifts:
Days 6a-2p
Eve 2p-10p
Nights 10p-6a

Qualifications:
Must be certified with State of Kansas as a CNA and CMA or LPN with a current certificate.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Job Duties:
- Must be able to perform the essential tasks of a CNA in addition to the following.
- Administers medication utilizing aseptic technique as stipulated by practice guidelines from the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
- Documents properly and promptly on the MAR or TAR at the time the medication or treatment is administered.
- Assesses and records appropriate VS needed for medication administration and for weekly and monthly tracking purposes.
- Administers medication safely: right time, right dose, right route, right drug, right resident, and right documentation.
- Observes and records resident for reactions to medications administered
- Responsible for performing treatments within the guidelines of the scope of practice as a CMA.
- Correctly demonstrates treatment procedures.
- Utilizes appropriate PPE during medication administration.
- Obtains blood sugar levels for residents as directed by charge nurse.
