Full-Time Cook
36-40 hours per week
$3,000 Sign-on Bonus
Our breathtaking Raybrook Manor Campus is searching for a Cook to add to our amazing dining services team. - Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepares and cooks food for residents and staff using standardized recipes and complying with regulatory requirements
- Assures that all prepared food items meet standards for temperature, quality, consistency, freshness, taste and appearance.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, crafting sauces)
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Pay and Benefits:
- Up to $18.14 per hour
- $3,000 Sign-on Bonus

- Experience and Education
- Preferred six months to one year of cooking experience with preference of large scale food preparation
- Completion of Food Safety Training for Food Service Workers within 90 days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Schedule includes working every other weekend and an occasional holiday
- Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 60 pounds
- Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language
- Pass basic physical including a drug screen and receive an annual flu shot
- Pass background check
- Schedule and Hours:
- Varied shifts: 6 am - 2:30 pm and 11 am - 7:30 pm
- Every other weekend required
