We are seeking a person eager to be part of our dedicated Jewelry sales team! The ideal candidate loves people and jewelry and thrives on creating an outstanding customer experience.
As a Jewelry Sales Professional on our team, you are a jewelry guide for people during the special moments in their lives. Helping a couple in love find their dream engagement ring, or repair a precious family heirloom, is a truly fulfilling experience.
As a team member of an independent and locally owned jewelry store, you will learn all aspects of our business. We remain competitive in this ever-changing market by continually developing your skills to succeed. In your first year you will grab onto a fast-moving train:
- You will participate in on-going product and sales training.
- Receive GIA Diamond and Color Gem Certification as needed.
- You will become an exert on our Point of Sale and inventory systems, which includes learning how jewelry is repaired.
- You will learn inventory management and product/parts ordering processes.
- You will develop customer relationships through clienteling.
Our compensation is competitive, our customers are awesome, and we are located in Historic Downtown Astoria close to the beautiful Columbia River. If you find the scope of year one and beyond appealing, we would love for you to apply for this position.
Experience and previous success in selling jewelry and jewelry repairs is preferred but not required. We need you to be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
