Job Summary: This position is responsible for the successful management of the Machine Product Support Sales strategy, marketing, and operations for the East Central Texas Region. This position is responsible for the successful management of the Product Support sales force. This person is responsible for the implementation and marketing of the parts and service sales strategic business plan and evaluates, allocates, and directs physical and financial resources for this department. Also provides visionary and inspirational leadership, development and management of parts and service sales department balancing stakeholders' needs, overseeing daily operations, collaborative team building, and managing customer satisfaction through collaboration with parts and service management.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Selects, develops, and evaluates direct reports (through consistent use of selection processes and situational leadership) to ensure that values-based work practices and leadership skills are understood and modeled for employees in the product support division
- Consistently reviews account coverage and sales representatives’ performance to assign or re-assigned customers or sales territories to sales representatives to ensure effective sales results
- Implements sales team strategic business plan in alignment with short and long-term Company objectives
- Identifies, recommends, and implements targeted marketing efforts in key product support areas to maintain and sustain sales opportunity and growth
- Presents information (i.e., forecast models, budgets, business strategies, and products and services) to key internal and external stakeholders
- Resolves Product Support Customer concerns (through collaboration with Service and Parts Leadership) to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business relationships
- Identifies, influences, and develops, (through personal modeling, collaboration, use of training resources, etc.) human resources requirements to ensure leadership succession in the product support areas
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of the region to conform to budgetary requirement
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of construction equipment
- Knowledge of business accounting principles, budget preparation, and strong business acumen
- Computer skills and demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with vendors, own staff, and corporate executives to exchange information, influence, and persuade
- Strong management skills to direct, coach, and sales team to increase revenues using sales tools, techniques, and market information

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of three years of related experience required; five or more years preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel:
- Travel up to 40% of the time and overnight stays will be required as necessary
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
- This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
- This role frequently communicates with others, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
- Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
Work Environment:
- This job is generally performed in a professional office environment
- Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
- Requires working in a closed vehicle or equipment
- Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
- Includes some exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
