Home Care Assistance is looking to hire a Pricing Director to our growing team!
The Pricing Director partners with field operations nationally to ensure the pricing of our services maximizes sales and profitability. This position will understand competitive intelligence gathering, develop and maintain pricing tools, have the ability to test hypotheses for pricing efficacy, and lead pricing strategy. This position will be part of the Analytics team and will work collaboratively with Sales and Field Operations.
This is a fully remote role.
Success Metrics:
- Providing support, education and, tools to support field operations and sales in pricing services
- Ability to develop models including testing for adequacy and reformulation of models as needed.
- Proactively cultivate relationships while consistently demonstrating a collaborative approach
- Ability to tactically support the field while maintaining a strategic vision
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze business data and identify pricing opportunities to increase profit and sales
- Design, develop, and maintain pricing tools to improve/automate pricing processes
- Design, run, and monitor pricing tests to evaluate new hypotheses and new strategic initiatives.
- Perform validation and testing of models to review for efficacy or need for revision
- Collaborate across departments to ensure buy-in of suggested solutions
- Drive accountability and adherence to pricing policies and processes across the organization while maintaining good working relationships.
- Promote and facilitate the development of self-service capabilities for field operations in the access analytics and reporting of pricing initiatives.
- Effectively guide and enable the Business Intelligence Analysts towards support of pricing intelligence and delivery of tactical and strategic reporting
- Understand the services of the companies and regional and national barriers to success
- Analyze in-market strategic initiatives and business performance using different analytical methods, benchmarking, statistical concepts, and financial measures to guide decision making by brand and sales teams
- Constructively challenge the status quo to advance and evolve how Home Care Assistance thinks about, and executes our pricing; including, understanding of internal and external trends
- Concisely explain complex analytical finds to non-analytical users
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree with quantitative focus, or MS/MBA degree preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in an analytical role preferred (Analytics, Financial Planning & Analysis Economics, Market Research)
- Advanced skills level with enterprise reporting systems and relational database management
- Knowledge of SQL programming fundamentals and statistical analysis tools preferred
- Ability to learn and utilize additional analytics tools as needed (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, R, Python, etc.)
- Experience with large data processing platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Previous Supervisory experience preferred
