Data Analyst

Description

As an entry-level data analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to extract actionable insights for the organization. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, statistical techniques, and data visualization tools. Your analytical skills and expertise will contribute to driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Preparation:
   • Gather and extract relevant data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
   • Clean, transform, and format data for analysis using R programming language.
   • Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures.
2. Data Analysis and Modeling:
   • Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify patterns, correlations, and trends in datasets.
   • Build predictive models
   • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and provide recommendations based on findings.
3. Reporting and Visualization:
   • Create clear and compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and insights effectively.
   • Present complex data analysis results in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions to business problems.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools and technologies related to data analysis and visualization.
   • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
   • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and data management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in R programming language and experience with data manipulation and analysis
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries to effectively present insights.
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience with data analytics projects or internships is a plus.

Salary : $62,100 - $78,600
