Are you a hardworking individual with a strong work ethic? Want to beat the summer heat driving an ice delivery truck? Then this is the opportunity for you. This is a physically demanding job but is one that is very rewarding, not only financially but also in the skills you will obtain. We do not require a CDL but we will help you get one if interested. Though this is a seasonal position, it could become a career with advancement opportunities within a large corporation. Come join the Home City Ice team!
No experience required we are willing to train
Responsibilities:
- Deliver to local convenience stores, gas stations, large grocery stores, and various other customers.
- Average of 12-15 deliveries a day
- Delivery drivers are responsible for invoicing and basic communication/interaction with the customer
- Operating a Home City Ice delivery truck and following all DOT guidelines.
- The ideal candidate is someone who is dedicated to providing great customer service!
Requirements:
- Ability to repetitively lift and move product in quantities of up to 42lbs
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and DOT physical and drug screening
- Subject to random drug screening
- Weekend availability
- All employees are required to work summer holidays as those are our busiest days
