What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Accountant position at Home Forward?
Perform and coordinate professional accounting and financial reporting, specialty, and project functions supporting Home Forward-wide operations; Reconcile and maintain the accuracy of the Home Forward's general ledgers, bank statements, property management and subsidiary financial systems; Maintain accurate financial records and reports; And to perform a variety of duties relative to assigned areas of responsibility.
In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders in the consideration of significant goals, concepts, initiatives, and other activities that profoundly affect Home Forward, its employees, and the people that it serves.

Employer Sponsored Time Effective January 1, 2023, employees normally scheduled to work a full FTE (40 hours per week) are eligible for 2.5 hours of Employer Sponsored Time (EST) per week. This will reduce the work week to 37.5 without a reduction in pay or accruals.

Education:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
Experience:
Three years of increasingly responsible accounting and specialized accounting systems experience.

Environment:
Hybrid combination of office setting and remote based in Oregon or Washington. Some travel needed to attend meetings or trainings.

Receives direction from the Property Accounting Supervisor.
