Home Genius Exteriors is in need of Outside Sales Representatives with varying levels of experience. Position Description:
Our sales representatives are called “Home Remodeling Experts” because we offer a fully paid, 3-4 week, training program that makes them complete experts in the home. Home Experts are not responsible for any back-end scheduling. This means no cold calling or prospecting. We have a precise pre-qualification and confirmation process that ensures we are placing our Experts in the best position to succeed. This allows you to focus on delivering a detailed sales presentation tailored to consumers’ specific requirements. Using the tools and sales methodologies taught throughout training, you will be able to create a connection with potential clients to offer the best solution to their exterior home remodeling needs.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with prospective clients to deliver a custom sales presentation of products and services that best fits their requests
- Build rapport with clients that facilitates a one visit close
- Utilize product samples to support your sales presentations and assist you in closing the deal
- Manage a sales calendar, of 12-15 appointments per week, for prompt arrival at all scheduled estimates
- Participate in weekly team meetings and sales trainings to keep up with the latest product development and sales techniques
Minimum Competencies:
- Highly developed organizational and communication skills
- Engaging and lively interpersonal skills
- Natural ability to speak clearly and publicly with confidence
- Effectiveness of presenting information to clients on a one-on-one basis
- High level of self motivation and awareness
- Ability to handle objections and provide alternatives in the sales process
- Previous sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired, but not required
- Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel within our branch’s territory is required
