We are currently seeking an experienced Training and Onboarding Support Specialist to join our team and help us ensure that our new hires are well-prepared and confident in their roles.
Position Overview: Training and Onboarding Support Specialist will help design, implement, and oversee our training and onboarding programs. This role is crucial in ensuring that our new employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to provide outstanding care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, onboarding and offboarding process, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mandatory new hire background study and drug screen set-up and compliance
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to new employees during their onboarding period
- Implement comprehensive training programs for new hires, including orientation, clinical skills, and compliance training
- Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules
- Conduct training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to meet organizational goals
- Collaborate with office team to identify training needs and gaps
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee training progress
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure our training programs are relevant and effective
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in training and development and/or employee onboarding, preferably within a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present engaging and effective training materials
- Proficiency with e-learning platforms and training software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Schedule:
- Regular weekday hours between 8AM-5PM, that may vary based on new employee training and onboarding schedules
- Flexibility to accommodate training and onboarding needs as required
