We are looking for a passionate, full-time, door-to-door Solar Sales Representative to join our growing community solar advertising company, Home Solutions. As a door-to-door Solar Sales Representative, you will be required to travel to designated residential and commercial utility territories (primarily throughout your county) to educate home and business owners on the benefits of community solar energy and enroll them in our FREE program. With community solar farms expanding throughout our nation, by simply signing up, customers now have the ability to utilize solar energy without needing to purchase or install expensive solar equipment, resulting in a lower monthly utility bill and a cleaner environment, making this an ideal product for a motivated sales professional. This position is 100% paid commission with the exception of paid training. First-year earnings can range from $55,000 to $78,000 and second-year earnings are generally over $100,000.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The door-to-door Solar Sales Representative will go door-to-door and educate customers on community solar farms with the goal to sell renewable energy credits within a designated utility territory to residents and/or commercial businesses.
- Gather information to accurately identify the customer’s solar needs and recommend a program based on their needs.
- Persuade customers to enroll in our free program, which in return will lower the customer's monthly utility bill and better the environment.
- Enroll customer's in our program by guiding them through brief paperwork.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers.
- Communicate with Sales Manager, collaborating on goals, performance, and strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel and work full-time hours.
- One or more years of sales experience, preferably within a similar industry.
- This position requires standing for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of sales and Microsoft Office software.
