Director of eCommerce and Growth
We are seeking a Director of eCommerce and Growth to lead digital product innovation and own and upgrade our core brand website. Backed by one of the top PE firms in the US, and led by Former CEO, President of Groupon as well as new Leadership from companies across strong multi sector brands, this is a unique opportunity to have a major impact on an already profitable and growing business.
As Director of eCommerce and Growth you will have the opportunity and investment to drive substantial growth for the organization by rethinking and redesigning our ecommerce product and developing new digital products across the organization that drive reduced costs and easier customer experiences. The Director of eCommerce and Growth will oversee a team of 2-3 as well as have funding for external agency and freelance support as needed.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Increase/improve conversion rates, user experience, and overall site performance.
- Relaunch our new brand across an upgraded website design and user experience.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards around site performance including channel performance, funnel metrics, category performance, page productivity.
- Create a data-driven, test-and learn approach to optimizing user experience throughout the funnel in collaboration with stakeholders including merch/product, creative and dev teams.
- Create a roadmap for testing, optimization, and new features to address problem areas as well as compelling new user experiences.
- Build customer knowledge, empathy and segmentation based on customer feedback, reviews, data and user research to improve site experience and performance.
- Develop site and seasonal strategy and calendar for promotions and merchandise supporting new launches, consumer trends, competitor assessments, and brand.
- Establish and improve overall tech and infrastructure including core ecommerce platform and related technologies (MarTech, analytics, feed facilitation, personalization). Collaborate with internal and external resources to execute.
- Manage direct reports and ensure key cross-functional partners are informed on performance, analyses, and continuous improvement efforts.
We are excited if this is you:
- Previous DTC eCommerce experience in a subscription or membership based business
- 7 years' Digital Marketing experience (4 years eCommerce/UX/Digital Product experience), with proven success
- Results Driven, can drive change, and influence technical and process improvement
- Strong UX/UI understanding and knowledge of CRO best practices
- Ability to balance commerce with content.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a varied audience both strategy and detailed business requirements.
- Driven by data, has a strong reliance on web marketing and analytics.
