HVAC Commercial Technician/Lead

Arundel was founded in 1971 by Jack Van Horne, Sr. Jack has over fifty years of experience all starting when he worked for his father's fuel business. In 1971, he expanded to selling and servicing HVAC equipment and has lived by his father's philosophy: The most important thing you can offer is customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

The Commercial HVAC Service Tech 3 is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance full range of commercial equipment.

• Responding to service requests for products and equipment in a professional manner
• Manage accounts with the proper guidance
• Offering customers multiple options to help in the decision-making process.
• Using a variety of hand tools, test instruments, specialty equipment to diagnose, and repair HVAC
• Using smart phones and tablets and parts ordering mean
• Performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and truck by keeping in a clean and cared for manner
• Representing company in a positive way that generates referral business
• Determining parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
• Ability to be on call for short periods of time

Job Qualifications:

• Five or more years of experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail oriented and customer focused- attitude.
• Ability to follow industry specific process to ensure quality workmanship.
• Strong working knowledge of job safety
• Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Customer relationship-development and client retention experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively face to face
• Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school
• EPA Universal Certification
