Our team is growing and we are looking for an experienced engineering team leader to lead one of our squads.
Here are a few of the things you'll do...
- Lead a team building HoneyBook’s product
- Directly manage the engineers in the team. squad (Full Stack)
- Own the team’s execution, delivery, and quality
- Work closely the PM to create the squad’s roadmap, plans, goals, and measurements
- Own engineer’s development, career path, and performance monitoring
- Develop the tools and processes best fit for the squad and its people
- Work alongside other squads and other departments (finance, BizDev, marketing) to collaborate on goals and delivery
- Work closely with research, data and UX to ensure that products delivered by the team are hitting goals and users are getting the most value out of them
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful…
- 2 years of managing a team (full stack)
- 6 years of engineering experience across multiple products and technologies
- Proficient with backend and frontend development framework/s and language/s (RoR, React/Angular/Vue, NodeJS etc)
- Excellent understanding of architecture concepts and consideration in SaaS products
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- People’s person who truly cares about the people you work with, and the people you build for
- Excellent communication skills (Hebrew & English)
- Loves product, loves users, deeply cares about value creation.
