Summary
Conducts the full range of counterintelligence (CI) activities including liaison with outside government agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Focus counterintelligence efforts against foreign intelligence services and terrorism threats directed at FM&T to ensure the horizontal integration of data from cyber, analysis and investigations components to support FM&T as well as the national DOE CI program.
Establish and maintain liaison relationships with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other United States Intelligence community agencies as well as state and local law enforcement agencies.
Establish and maintain CI-focused functional relationships across FM&T leadership as well as IN and its Directorates as needed for the accomplishment of the DOE CI mission.
Debrief NNSA employees, Honeywell FM&T, and contractor staff to satisfy national objectives related to interactions with foreign nationals, either domestically or overseas.
Conduct CI-focused awareness and travel briefings.
Conduct investigative activities and ensures CI-significant data properly documented in an accurate and timely manner for evidentiary and analytical purposes.
Provide tailored support to assigned portfolio to keep staff advised of relevant CI issues.
Conduct activities in a safe healthy manner and works in accordance with established ES&H requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment.
You Must Have
Must be an U.S. Citizen in order to obtain a DOE Q Level security clearance.
BS degree in a social science, criminal justice, security, business or technical field.
Minimum of seven (7) years experience directly related to counterintelligence or intelligence collection.
Successfully completed a federally recognized credentialing course for investigations, counterintelligence, or intelligence operations.
Successfully pass (and continued subject to) random CI-scope polygraph examination.
