What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Estimator position at Honeywell?
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Proposals of the highest quality possible and continually seek out ways to improve the way we serve our customers within our core portfolio including process automation, safety systems and industrial security in markets ranging O&G, Pharma, Energy, MM, Sheet Manufacturing
Develop and/or help design scopes of work including labor and materials for new projects and migrations for $2M value.
Analyze inflow and outflow impacts on project costs and working with Line of Business to provide proposals that have value to Honeywell and our Customers.
Leverage systems and tools to accurately maintain estimates, proposals, requests, responses and supporting documentation.
Working with Procurement, Evaluate the Technical and Commercial Offers received from Third Party Vendors and Honeywell Business Units.
Lead a designated team of Proposal Engineers for the delivery of proposals and estimates.
Propose technical and / or commercial alternatives that enable the lowest compliant bid while providing the highest value to the customer.
YOU MUST HAVE:
More than 5 years of experience in process automation, Electronics, process control, telecommunication or computer science.
Solutions experience is beneficial

Experience in migration plan design
Knowledge of Honeywell portfolio and competitor solutions and their offers
An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
Strong numerical aptitude
Demonstrated proficiency with Excel
Ability to meet and improve delivered financial results from implemented estimates
Six Sigma experience, Green Belt certification a strong plus
Other languages are beneficial (Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese, French)
Planning, organizing, delegating, decision making
Ability to work with others in a team environment. A true team player
