The Inventory Planner II role is a key member of the Colonial Heights Maintenance Team and is responsible for leading all aspects of Equipment and Storage Administration for the site. This salaried position schedule is a Day Shift, but candidate must be available for rotating weekend coverage as the union facility is 24/7/365.
Key Responsibilities
•Advanced to very proficient SAP experience needed to input, record, zeroes and run reports to help create visibility for the operation
•Accountable for developing and maintaining Stores documentation, processes, or activities which ensure compliance to applicable regulations, contracts, policies, or initiatives
•Administer site mail/shipping program (including Fed Ex, DHL, UPS)
•Assist in the procurement of tools, equipment, materials, and outside services for maintenance and production departments.
•Identify, write-off, and disposal of obsolete materials and surplus equipment
•Leads strategic and complex projects to improve maintenance productivity and performance
•Maintains ownership of services, purchases, invoices, and receipts of Stores activities.
•Maintains ownership of weekly, quarterly, and annual wall-to-wall inventory audits and cycle counts
•Maintains ownership of material expediting activities and purchases
•Maintains ownership of the material Quality Assurance (QA) Pre-Inventory Process
•Manage maintenance vendors
•Manage plan to repair/refurbish damaged parts (RO Process) to restore required inventory
•Manage Kitting of Planned Work Orders
•Manage housekeeping of all Stores locations through the site
•Manage “A” critical equipment BOM’s (stock outs)
•Inputs and edits daily inventory adjustments and RMM material
•Prepares, forecasts, and explains variances for Stores and Maintenance activities
•Receives goods in SAP and recordkeeping of delivery receipts.
•Resolves blocked invoice GRs, Invoice Corrections/Resolution, Goods Withdrawal Process
•Resolves Compass, AP, PO, SAP, P2P, and Invoice-to-Vendor Issues
•Ships all Stores related items
•Owner of the Site Transportation Request Management
•Creates and sets up new parts (IP Sheet Process), General Inventory Management
•Directs and assigns Honeywell Maintenance Employees (Hourly)/Contractors as required
•Utilizes knowledge of procurement and maintenance operations and policies to perform duties with minimal direction
•Weekend and holidays plant support coverage on rotational basis as needed or assigned
•Solid Mechanical Aptitude
•Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
•Direct and assign work as needed to the Maintenance Team.
