Position Title: System Administrator Task Lead - GITMO

Job Summary
KaiHonua, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the System Administrator position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
As the Systems Administrator Task Lead for our Arlington, Virginia office, you will play a crucial role in providing operational and maintenance (O&M) support for a large-scale Information Technology (IT) Services program supporting the U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (NSGB). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS system infrastructure, catering to approximately 400 users. Additionally, you will oversee O&M support for Special Access System infrastructure for approximately 150 users and Printer infrastructure, including Pharos Secure Print.
Your role will involve developing, implementing, managing, and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for thick/thin/zero clients and server virtualization technologies. You will also handle O&M support for SQL Database infrastructure, OMC server and desktop-based software applications, and data backup and restoration capabilities for various systems.
Furthermore, you will support replication of network file share volumes via Distributed Files System w/ Replication (DFS-R) between NCR and NSGB locations and provide support for storage area network (SAN) and encrypted file storage capabilities. Compliance with DOD security standards is paramount, and you will create and maintain standalone workstation images accordingly.
Your ability in systems recovery and repair operations, employing industry best practices for systems troubleshooting and fault isolation, will be critical. Also, you will play a key role in ensuring the distribution and installation of security patches, contributing to the program's overall security posture.
This position requires a seasoned Systems Administrator with strong leadership skills, a meticulous approach to O&M support, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of performance and security in a dynamic operational environment.
Qualifications

Requirements / Skills / Experience Required
- 7 years of experience with Microsoft System Administration in an enterprise environment, including Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting preferred
- Serve as supervisor for their respective teams and liaison between Government Leadership and contractor PM
- Provide Weekly Action Report every Monday.
- Develop travel plan for Contractors traveling to NSGB in support of hearings
- Provide O&M support for Special Access System infrastructure for approximately 150 users
- 4 years of experience leading tasks of a similar size/scope preferred
- 4 years of experience with the following IT disciplines preferred:
- Security configuration of Windows Server/Windows 10 and/or Windows 11
- Microsoft SCCM or similar technologies
- Maintaining PKI Infrastructure
- Implementing and managing VDI Infrastructure
- Server Virtualization Technologies
- Preferred: 3 years' experience with Vormetric data encryption solutions
- Provide operational and maintenance (O&M) support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS system infrastructure for approximately 400 users
- Provide O&M support for Special Access System infrastructure for approximately 150 users
- Provide O&M support for Printer infrastructure, to include Pharos Secure Print

Education / Experience / Certifications
High School graduate
Required certifications:
- Computing Environment Certifications listed below: VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- PLUS, one of the following:
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Core Infrastructure,
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
One of the following DoD 8570.01M baseline certifications:
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
- Continuing Education (CE)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Need to have the Three (3) certifications listed above: VCP, Microsoft, (CASP, CISSP, or CISM)
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
